NPU - Nueral Processing Unit. Is a specialized processor that is designed to handle big calculations in in machine learning and, aka, AI. They are a key component of what makes any device, be it a phone or laptop computer "AI capable".
The world is entering a new computing age driven by AI (Artificial Intelligence). One major catch is the the myraid of acronyms that now have to be learned to follow along. Let's try to decipher some of these acrosnyms that will soon, become part of our everyday vocabulary.

You generally find them at large Data centers, but these days, Laptops and even Cellphone are now coming equiped with smaller units of NPU.
2: GPU - Graphics Processing Unit, is a component that helps your computer draw and produce images faster and helps make them lore coloful. Imagine you are a kid, asked to draw a coloful picture of a bird. To help you make it faster, you are given a box of crayons.
That box of crayons is you GPU. - CPU - Central Processing Unit. CPU's have been around as long there have been computers. Just like human brains, they are the brains of every computer. They are what helps every computer decide what to do with what to do with the information or task it has been asked to do accomplish.
